Peter’s Well Written Songs
Pete was born in Woodstock Ontario and appeared to be an average child. As he grew up his interest in music became stronger and by high school, he was singing up a storm, as the lead singer in a band, as a duo, and finally as a solo artist.
When his guidance counsellor identified his career skills were strongest as a writer he quickly joined the Army. Realising his Army mistake, he spent the better part of 3 years trying to get into the Air Force instead.
As a trained Aviation System Technician, he worked as a technician and taught at the military school. This career path allowed him to travel the world. It was then that he realised there was more to life than just staying in Canada. Upon retiring from the military, and avoiding becoming a General, Pete became a Technical Writer and Trainer and has been doing both ever since. This new career path had him moving to the USA and the Middle East and travelling all over the world, both for business and pleasure.
Pete’s love of writing has led him to write many books, both novels as well as non-fiction. His latest book, “Fly Fearless and Fear Less: Eliminate Your Fear of Flying with Knowledge” has done well and allowed him to give presentations throughout Ontario explaining how air planes work and onboard safety systems.
His love of film led him be an actor in movies and television. He wrote 2 screenplays, one a documentary about classical Pakistani music, and the second a comedy titled “Copy That,” which he starred in and produced.
Pete received his Singer / Songwriter Certificate from the Berklee College of Music in Boston, which helped him in writing song lyrics and song composition. Pete has one song credit “A Kid Like Me” co-written with Tom Pinsent.
Pete loves well written songs and is a presenter of “Pete’s Well Written Songs” show on Exploits Valley Radio.
