Elmo has a love for all types of music, but, it is the traditional Newfoundland Music that has always appealed to him the most. He says that he believes the love of traditional music came from his childhood upbringing and his show Mid Week Blast which offers traditional Newfoundland favourites reflect that. He will always offer stories from his early days which he entertains with tales about his family and childhood and particularly his grandfather who was a huge influence on him and his love of traditional Music.
